Week 6 (1/26/10) Email to Dad from the MTC

I have had 15 bloody noses since I have been here and I used to get them a lot at home too, so that brutally hot metal doesn't sound as bad to me as it sounds to you, but that's not saying much ha. Let's just say I'll be glad when its all over and done with. My teacher here, Hermana Cochrane said she did it shortly after she graduated from high school and it wasn't that bad, it was just annoying having a scab in her nose. It will be nice not having to worry about getting a bloody nose everywhere I go. I have had one while playing volleyball and one on the 8th row of a big meeting with all the 2000 or so missionaries here. They just strike without any warning. Anyway I am enjoying myself and learning a lot. My Spanish gets better everyday. My companion and I have made over 1000 flash cards since I have been here it's great. Dad I love being a part of this great work and I know that Jesus Christ died for us. I know that through Him we can be together as a family forever, we just have to do our part. I'm glad we got to spend some time together before I came and I was happy to have your help cleaning all of my stuff up and getting ready to head out. I enjoyed having you in my room just hanging out with me. Its kind of a bummer being so far away for so long, but it will go fast and I will see you in two fast years. It has already been six weeks. Three more and I'll be in Argentina. Can't wait! I love you Dad.
